# Supported chat apps

> Feature support matrix for the chat apps that work with AI Helpdesk (Slack, Microsoft Teams, LINE WORKS, Google Chat).

AI Helpdesk works with Slack, Microsoft Teams, LINE WORKS, and Google Chat. Once connected, employees can send inquiries right from the chat app they already use. The AI answers inside the thread (or chat room).

## Feature support

| Feature | Slack | Microsoft Teams | LINE WORKS | Google Chat |
| - | :-: | :-: | :-: | :-: |
| Conversation format | Threaded | Channels: threaded, chats: dedicated room | Dedicated room | Threaded |
| Inquiries via mention or direct message | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Attaching and reading images | Yes | No | Yes | Yes |
| Attaching and reading files | Yes | No | Yes | Yes |
| Answers with images | Yes | Yes\* | Yes | Yes\* |
| Escalation to an operator | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |

\* In Teams and Google Chat, images are returned as a card with links to them (valid for 12 hours).

The conversation formats work as follows.

* Threaded — you mention the bot in a channel or space, and the conversation continues in the reply thread. The other channel members can see the conversation.
* Dedicated room — a DM to the bot creates a dedicated group chat for the user, the bot, and an observer. The other channel members cannot see the conversation.
