# freee Accounting

> Instructions for integrating with freee Accounting. This guide covers the complete process from administrator login to integration setup in MoneyForward Admina.

## Integration Setup

In the MoneyForward Admina integration screen, search for **freee Accounting**.

Click **Connect**. If you want to also retrieve accounts from categories classified as `Bank accounts` or `Cash & Other`, check the respective checkboxes.

  By default, both account and expense data are retrieved. Select \[Account data only] from the dropdown menu to retrieve only account data without syncing cost data.

You will be redirected to the freee login screen. Enter your freee login email address and password, then click Login.

The following authorization screen will appear. Review the access permissions and click **Allow**.

Once the integration with freee Accounting is successful, the registered user information will appear in the account list.

If the process does not complete successfully, go to the Status tab on the integration screen, click **Edit**, and try again.

## Reference 1: About Supported Account Types

* Credit cards: By registering a credit card as an "account" in freee, you can track credit card balances in freee. Using the sync feature to connect with credit card web services allows you to automatically retrieve and record credit card transaction statements.
* Cash: Cash is registered in freee as an "account" by default. Cash transactions are recorded as deposits and withdrawals from this cash account.
* Bank accounts: By registering a bank account (such as a standard savings account) as an "account" in freee, you can track deposit balances in freee. Using the sync feature to connect with online banking allows you to automatically retrieve and record bank transaction statements.

## Reference 2: How to Add Users

When using the business platform, you may need to invite multiple members. The following explains how to invite members in detail.

### 1. Standard Invitation Method

The basic invitation steps are as follows:

1. Click \[Settings] from the menu bar at the top of the admin screen.
2. Select \[Member Invitation] from the dropdown menu.
3. When the "Members" tab appears, click the \[Add Member] button.

Click \[Employee List] or \[Department/Position Settings] in the upper right of the admin screen to register and review employee information available for multiple settings and approval workflows. For details, see the [help page](https://support.freee.co.jp/hc/ja/articles/203318190-freee%E4%BC%9A%E8%A8%88%E3%81%AE%E3%83%A1%E3%83%B3%E3%83%90%E3%83%BC%E6%8B%9B%E5%BE%85-%E6%A8%A9%E9%99%90) for "Department/Position Data Integration."

### 2. Detailed Settings for Member Invitations

When inviting a member, enter detailed information for "Email Address," "Permissions," and "Group," then click the \[Send Invitation Email] button.

Once a member has been invited, you can check the invitation status from the admin screen. You can view each member's status, position, and permissions in a list — allowing you to centrally manage all members in your organization.

You can also change the permissions of previously invited members or remove members from this screen. However, please note that removing a member will permanently delete their data.

## Reference 3: How to Delete Users

1. Click \[Settings] → \[Member Invitation].
2. Click the \[Edit] button for the target user on the "Members" screen.

Note: Member recognition upon re-invitation

Even if you re-invite a member with the same email address after deletion, freee Accounting will recognize them as a different member. Therefore, when filtering transactions by member, data registered by the deleted member will not be visible to the re-invited account. The data registered before deletion is not removed from freee Accounting itself, but filtering by the registrant will not display data from before the member was deleted.
