# 2022/11/16 Release
> Enhanced account management features, including per-account deletion and deactivation, and service-specific merge operations.
## Delete and Deactivate from Account Menu
Previously, account deletion was only supported at the service level. With this update, you can now delete or deactivate accounts on a per-account basis. This makes it much simpler to delete or deactivate accounts for departing employees.
## Enhanced Account Merge
Previously, account merging was available from the account menu at the account level. With this enhancement, you can now perform merge operations by specifying a particular service, such as GitHub.
If accounts with user type "Unknown" remain, you will be notified of the count and the affected accounts. You can then perform the merge directly from the notification panel.
The Service > Accounts tab has been improved to display merged accounts, making it easier to verify merge results.
