# How to Invite Operators (Staff Members)

> This service lets you invite operators (staff members or consultants) using a dedicated role.

## Overview

This service lets you invite operators (staff members or consultants) using a dedicated role.

Key characteristics of this feature:

* You can identify operators under Settings > Users.
* Operators can log in even in environments where SAML (SSO) is enabled.

## How to Invite an Operator

1. Obtain the email address of the operator designated by our team.

2. Go to Settings > Users and invite a new user.

3. Make sure to assign the operator role **Operator(External)**.

4. Configure any additional roles required for the work. (The operator role itself grants no permissions.)

5. An invitation email is sent to the operator automatically. Wait for confirmation that they have completed login.

## Frequently Asked Questions

#### Q. How do I remove an operator?

A. Delete the user under Settings > Users to revoke the invitation.

#### Q. What happens when an operator leaves the company?

A. When we process the departure internally, the operator is automatically removed from your tenant as well.

#### Q. What can operators do?

A. The operator role alone grants no operational permissions. Operators can only perform tasks within the scope of the additional roles you assign. Contact the person in charge of each operation service for the specific permissions required.

#### Q. How is operator login secured?

A. Only people with an email address at our company can be invited as operators. Access must also be pre-approved internally through a request process. Two-factor authentication is enforced at login. Even after completing an internal access request, an operator cannot access your tenant unless you invite them.

#### Q. What is the main purpose of the operator role?

A. The role serves two purposes: identifying operators and allowing login in SSO environments. Actual work permissions require separate configuration.

#### Q. Is this feature available to all customers?

A. This feature is for customers using our consulting or operation services.
