This usage was previously difficult to monitor. Additionally, the browser extension now supports proxy environments. This makes it available to a wider range of organizations.

Microsoft 365 / Entra ID Integration: Full Visibility into SSO App Usage

Login history data from Microsoft 365 and Entra ID is now supported. This data will now be recorded under the new “Microsoft Auth” category with the following information. Previously, it was unclear when SSO-authenticated apps were last used. This update enables more accurate login timestamp retrieval. Identifying unused accounts and understanding usage patterns becomes more precise. Connecting both MS365 and Entra ID will not result in duplicate records.

Browser Extension Proxy Support: Safe to Use Even in Security-Focused Environments

The browser extension now supports proxy configurations. Some organizations configure proxy settings at the OS or browser level. In these cases, data is transmitted according to those settings. Organizations with strict network boundary controls can now confidently use the extension for shadow IT detection. This allows you to take full advantage of powerful shadow IT detection capabilities even in more secure environments. We encourage you to try the new features and experience more accurate shadow IT detection.
