Before contacting support

If you cannot connect or a tool returns an error, check the following in order.
1

Endpoint URL

Check that the URL is https://mcp.itmc.i.moneyforward.com/mcp. Without the trailing /mcp, the server returns 404.
2

Both headers

Check that you send both Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY> and X-Admina-Organization-Id: <ORGANIZATION_ID>. If you use environment variables, also check that they are set in the terminal where you started the AI client.
3

Organization ID

Check that you specify the numeric Organization ID shown under Settings > API Keys. The identifier in the admin console URL does not work.
4

API key validity

Check that the API key still appears on the API Keys screen. If the user who created the API key is removed from the organization, the API key stops working. In that case, generate a new API key with another user.
5

Organization status

If the organization is not active (for example, it is suspended), every request with an API key returns an authentication error.
For the meaning of each error, see Errors and limits.

Information to include when reporting an error

If the checks do not solve the problem, contact support with the following information.
  • The organization name shown when you sign in, and the organization ID you specified
  • Your AI client and its version (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or another client)
  • The name and arguments of the tool you called
  • The HTTP status code and the error text you received (such as text that begins with Invalid input:)
  • The date and time of the problem
Do not include your API key in the inquiry. If you share a configuration file, remove the API key from it first.
