How to Obtain an Access Key

  1. Go to your ATLASSIAN account, then navigate to Security > API tokens.

The API token serves as your access key, so save it. Note: API tokens cannot be displayed again after creation.

How to Find Your Group Name (Optional)

By default, the integration looks for the Jira user group named jira-software-users. Depending on your environment, the group name may differ, which can cause an integration error. In that case, you will need to enter your group name manually to complete the integration. You can find the required group name under Atlassian administration > Products > Jira. How to Obtain an Organization ID and API Key (Optional)

Entering an Organization ID and API Key during integration allows you to retrieve Last Activity data. This is optional — integration is possible without them.
  1. Go to ATLASSIAN Admin and navigate to Settings > API keys.
Atlassian Admin settings screen
  1. Click Create API keys to create an API Key.
  2. Enter a Name (any name, such as your company name or purpose). The Organisation ID and API Key will then be displayed — these are your organization ID and API key. Copy and save them.
