Getting an API key

1. Log in to Insightly.
2. Click the avatar icon at the top right of the screen, then select User Settings.
3. On the User Settings screen, in the API section, check the API key shown next to Your API key is. Also check the URL shown next to Your API URL is. The subdomain in this URL is your region. For example, if the URL is https://api.na1.insightly.com/v3.1/, your region is na1. For details, see Find your API key and URL (external site).

Setting up the integration

1. On the integration screen, search for Insightly.
2. Enter a workspace name (optional) and the API key from the previous step. Enter the region you checked, then click Connect.
3. Once the integration with Insightly succeeds, registered user information appears in the account list. If it doesn’t complete successfully, first try the steps in Troubleshooting failed SaaS integrations. If that doesn’t resolve it, check Information to provide and contact support.
